Must try restaurant in Mykonos

Nikos Gallop is hands down the best restaurant in Mykonos. And I’m clearly not the only person that thinks that, with over 700+ reviews on TripAdvisor and a 4.5+ star, this place is not joking. This is more of $$ place for me, definitely affordable and you get your bang for your buck. The seafood is fresh, the ambience is clean, and its right next to a beach!

We went for lunch, and we were one of 3 parties there. It was surprising because I thought it was going to be really crowded, and because it was the opposite I was almost worried LOL.

Also want to preface this by saying please do not go to the wrong Nikos! Nikos seems like its a common Greek restaurant name, and there are a couple in Mykonos…. So remember Nikos Gallop! Read more for some delicious food goodness…

 

Appetizer

The greek platter is delicious, like my mouth is literally watering right now looking at this. All of the dips are so flavorful and you get so much variety that you’re in dip heaven. We also got their salad bc TBH I wanted some veggies in my life. It was fresh (esp the cheese!) and crisp, but if you don’t like veggies, feel free to skip.

 

Main Course

Ahh the highlight of this meal- the fish nomnom. I thought it was cool how they debone the fish in front of you at the table. Really makes the fish seem even more fresh!
