I swear Sydney has everything. From food that looks good and tastes good (A+ in my book) and the clean, ocean breeze that’s always calling, Sydney is definitely one of my favorite cities. I don’t think I’ve travelled to one place where I had second-thoughts about this year, so cheers to keeping that streak up. I put together a 24-hour guide of all of my must-dos when in Sydney. Have fun and enjoy 🙂
10:00AM: Breakfast
You won’t want to miss breakfast at Celsius Coffee Co.
Edible flowers in my waffle? Yes please. Amazing view? Check. It is 100% worth it to make this trek across the bridge.
11:30AM: Taronga Zoo
I think I’ve been to every zoo in the US, so when the BF proposed that we go to the zoo in Sydney, I think I audibly groaned. Another zoo? No way buddy…. But then, it dawned on me that because Australia is in the other hemisphere, the wildlife and ecosystem would be completely different! Taronga Zoo was established in 1916, so it has been around for over 100 years! Inside, it was almost like Disneyland Epcot. There were eight zoogeographic regions, and various different shows to sit down and watch. Walking around the zoo, you’re also awarded with some of the best views of the city. It’s easy to find something here for all ages and interests!
4:30PM: Unwind
It was a long day! Unwind with some drinks and snacks before dinner. I recommend either Opera Bar or the Glenmore Rooftop Hotel for great views of the city.
8:30PM: Evening Stroll
I’m sure by now you’re probably stuffed from all the food you’ve had. The best thing to do in that case is to walk around the Opera House. There’s live music from the Opera Bar, giving it a fun and lively atmosphere.
